Some people ooze with self-confidence to the point that you can see it dripping off them and often we wish we could carry ourselves the way they do.
A good way to start this series is by reading our “simple ways to build your self esteem” blogs!
Nobody is gifted with self-confidence, nor are we born with it in abundance.
More often then not building confidence begins from a low point in our life, when we see how much better we may have dealt with certain situations if we were confident enough to do the right thing by us.
Building your confidence takes time and although can be challenging it is achievable.
Your mind, the things you tell yourself and how you see yourself has such a powerful impact on your self-esteem and self-confidence.
It is therefore time to visualise yourself as you want to be.
You might not be at the peak of your confidence at this given moment in time but that does not stop you from visualising yourself as a confident person.
This technique is such a great way of imagining yourself in a light that you are most proud of that is personal to you. Parts of you that no one else might know about but is your super-power.
When we’re not feeling our best and things around us seem to be going all wrong we tend to internalise that and be very self-critical and judge ourselves harshly.
Our inner critic is usually inaccurate and unkind. Visualising yourself as an amazing person with above average abilities to overcome the most impossible looking situations can keep these negative thoughts at bay.
Because if you think you can, you will and this applies to everything.
Visualising yourself as successful, content, achieving all your goals, knowing the sky is the limit can only push you to do well.
It will motivate you to be the person you have the potential to be.
You will be able to see your current situation, no matter how bleak, as just a part of the journey to where you are going and not the destination.
Because believing in yourself, being kind and encouraging towards yourself can do wonders for your confidence.
Practise visualising the most fantastic, amazing, beautiful, strong and capable version of you because that is truly who you are and where you want to be!
